Creative ways to announce baby 2

I was looking online at ideas on announcing baby 2and just didn't find any I liked. Any suggestions? We are going to wait until the end of October maybe even beginning of November.

I am thinking of doing the family picture thing with an ultrasound picture held on my belly.

I'm going to write my due date on a decorative chalkboard and take pictures of the kids holding it.

How does the boy or girl ballon thing work i am assuming that is when the parents also find out the gender or do they already know ?

We are going to a pumpkin patch and are each going to hold a pumpkin and then have a mini pumpkin. On the pic it will say, we are expecting our little pumpkin May 2013. I also am making a big sister shirt and tutu to take some shots of her. I also want to line up blocks that say BIG SIS on them and have her sitting behind them smiling. My sister is doing a photoshoot so the best shot will be our main announcement picture.

We are announcing at Thanksgiving. Our daughter is going to wear shirt that says "Thankful to be a big sister!" I'm not quite sure how we'll announce to the world yet, though.

We're doing her professional photos for her 2nd birthday next weekend, we're just going to have the photographer take a picture of her in her big sister shirt and we'll post that on FB after the NT scan on 10/22.

We went to the beach a few weeks ago and we wrote my daughter's name and year of birth in the sand.  Under that we wrote #2 2013.  It turned out really cute.  Maybe you can do something like that.
