Yes I noticed the other day while O was out playing that she can walk backwards. And she did it so well I don't thenk it was the 1st time she had done it.

When DD started walking backwards a month or two ago I googled to see what age this milestone usually happens and the majority of the results were on autism. Had to laugh and roll my eyes, darn google.
DD started about a month ago and DH and I just laughed. DH calls it her moonwalking. I didn't realize it was a milestone, just thought it was funny lol! Good to know!

I googled and came up with this happening around 18 months. Cole has been doing it for quite a while, but he walked early as well, at 9.5 months
Wow, google is way off on this one, or we've got a lot of advanced babies on here, with 78% of us having moonwalking babies at this point!
Pregnancy brain got me. It wasn't the walking backwards, it was the spinning. She started that at 13 months and it's the one that had autism links...of course all the toddlers I know love to spin now.

I can't say that I have seen D spin, but he does love to squeeze into small spaces. The other day mom stepped into the laundry room and when she came back out he was GONE. She said she could hear him giggling and was running around the house looking for him. He was 5 feet from where he had been playing but was now behind the couch (chasing the cat).
