Hey y'all! I just got a massive surprise from my bfp and I'm freaking out a bit. We weren't going to try for next kiddo until next summer but now I'm DUE next summer. EDD is June 8, so they will be just under 2 years apart. I know plenty of you have been here so please tell me the good, bad and ugly.
Another summer pregnancy. Blargh.
Re: I'm gonna have 2u2. Hold me.
I haven't been there, but did want to say congrats!! You'll do just fine

Congratulations!
You'll figure it out over the next 8months :-) I think anytime you add a new baby to the mix it will cause some worry about how it will impact the family. But you'll get a new routine and things will work out. Plus LO will grow/change a lot before the baby comes too. A 2yr old is a lot different from a 1yr old.
Congrats!
I had 2u2. I love that they are close together actually. I do have my days where I want rip my hair out, mostly from my older one. Nicks has always been a pretty easy baby, just not for sleeping. Neither of mine sleep well or even sleep through the night yet.
the beginning for me was a bit rough I had wicked post partum anxiety, but the more I started working out the better it got. I got a great double jogger so I could run with both of them and that saved my sanity. Both are out door boys so that is great.
A lot of it was trial and error until you found out what worked for you. The scariest thing was trying to grocery shopping with one still in the infant seat and one who you wouldn't want walking out of the carriage. But now do it all the time and it;s like I've always been doing it.
Bed time can still be a bit challenging because I do it alone because Mike works nights.
Congrat@Congrats,first off!
I'm only a week into 3u2, but it has been going surprisingly well. DD has been able to stick to her schedule which is so helpful and the girls just slid right into the groove of things.
I was very worried how it would all work out,but I'm loving it so far. We practiced with DD being gentle, showing love, etc with a baby doll. I wasn't sure how much she would grasp, but she is doing great mimicking that with her sisters. She has shown some attention seeking behaviors as expected, but nothing worrisome. More like hey look at me dance I'm cute! She has been interested in a paci which is new,and may just be some regression or curiosity after seeing her sisters with one.
I'd say not to worry too much, try to maintain as much normalcy for your DD and she will do great. H&H 9 months to you!
I'm due in January, 8 days before my son's half birthday!
I feel like it's going to be crazy!
But, they'll be best friends, so I know there will always be that 1 moment in the day that makes me smile, and makes all the lack of sleep and stress worth it in the end
Congrats!
one day at a time is my advice.
