Hello ladies!
Sorry I've been MIA. It's been busy and then last Friday DHs grandma suddenly passed away
But I have some good (IMHO) news to share. DD finally cut her first tooth! After a little over 3 months of teething, horrible sleep regression and lots of pain and tears (for baby AND mom) we finally have a shark tooth. I didn't realize you wouldn't see it but only feel it at first... Not sure why, but somehow I just expected there to be a full on tooth right away LOL
Anyway, for those who are still waiting (although I have the feeling I'm the last one), the tooth WILL come
The sleeping hasn't improved yet, so I"m sure it's a combo of her now demanding cuddles she was getting when in pain and the second tooth being in the works...
What is your experience, the second tooth should pop up within the next few weeks right?
Anyway, that's all for my rambling today
Re: Tooth!
I'm sorry for your loss. That's a legit reason for being away.
But congrats on the tooth! Really feels like it takes forever, doesn't it? DS got his second tooth about a week after his first, and he's still working on his next tooth.
Thanks namara
Yes, I seriously thought the tooth would never come LOL I guess I better prepare for the next chapter in my battle as a mom :P
You know I think I"m lucky, well DD is, that she doesn't really drool TOO much. I mean yes, she does drool but it's not to the point where she even has to have a bib on all the time. And so far no diaper rash either! I have heard from so many moms though that diaper rash is one of the very comon signs... Poor babies
DDs biggest symptom that scared the heck out of me was when she refused the bottle for 2 days and after that only had a little bit at a time. I know she's teething b/c she'll press her lips together and cringe. And she has not beel sleeping at all. She is totally back to her old ways. Only now the paci is not enough, she has to hang on to me the whole time. So instead of trying to fix this sleeping problem I've decided to blame it on teething and wing it every night with whatever works for all of us. No sleep training of any kind going on right now.
