Is your babe sleeping more than usual lately?

Hi Mamasitas,

I have a question. Are your babies sleeping more than usual these days? Now, I'm definitely not complaining but Little S has been sleeping (through the night) from about 7pm to 9/9:30 am and then taking a 2.5 hour nap in the afternoon.That's a lot for her, generally speaking.

She been sleeping like this for about couple of weeks now and I'm thinking perhaps growth spurt? Thought I'd check in and see if any of you mamas are experiencing the same.

DD for sure is sleeping more lately. She used to wake up at 6am, almost to the minute, and for the past 2 weeks she's been waking up between 7-7:30. Bedtime is still 7:30pm, and can't easily be moved earlier due to work. I'm not complaining about the extra hour of sleep, but it does make mornings a little more rushed to get everybody out the door for 8am.

Naps are still the same between 1.5-2 hours daily.

She might be sleeping a little more but not like S! She goes down for naps much easier than she used to, so that's nice.

yes!! he was practically begging to go to bed by 6pm tonight! and he had a 2.5 hour nap this afternoon.

we both just said i wonder if he's going through a growth spurt...

Yup.  He has been sleeping later and long naps. He also says night night when he's tired.  Haha.

So jealous of all of you! We've been having to push bedtime back cuz he won't fall asleeP right away or he'll wake up crying at around 10, and it takes him a while to fall back asleep again. He has been sleeping in later...until 9:30 rather than 8:30, prob cuz of sleeping later. Sleep problems began after his molars and fangs came in. :
