Started a new job today

So, I started a new job today after 4 months of unemployment. Yay! I'm really excited about this, but am dreading all the GTKY questions.  When meeting new coworkers, people always ask if I have kids.  It's an innocent question, but I'm not looking forward to answering the question several times a day as I meet new employees from different shifts.

Also, I will be doing all of my training with a very pregnant lady because I'm covering her shifts while she's on maternity leave. Ugh! Why does the universe hate me?!

BFP #1: EDD 4/16/13~~blighted ovum w/ 2 gestational sacs~~Loss on 9/18/12
BFP #2: EDD 9/3/13~~Slow HB at 1st U/S~~MMC -Loss on 2/13/13
9/13, 10/13, 1/14: letrozole + trigger + TI = All BFNs
3/14: IUI#1 letrozole/Bravelle/Menopur + trigger = BFN
BFP #3: EDD 1/27/15 Please be our rainbow! ...Team Green

    YAY on getting a new job....BOO on working nextto a pregnant woman!! FX that you don't get asked to many questions about having kids!

    I found it was helpful to be short & sweet & tell the truth.   I felt the need to tell a few people outside my department at work b/c I didn't want them to think I just flaked out... and just kind of quickly said "sorry I didn't get back to you, I was away longer than expected b/c I had a miscarriage". And when people ask about kids- I usually say we are still practicing!

    Congrats on the new job.

    Congrats on the new job! I am in that situation right now too so I know how nice it is to get a job after being unemployed for a while. Good luck with all of your new co-workers and whatever you decide to tell them. I have asked myself why the universe hates me a lot lately. It will get better for us!
