Anyone have a vaginal and c/s and freaked a bit for trying for a VBAC?

I had a wonderful vaginal birth with DS1 with absolutely no complications. With my twins I had a c/s due to A being breech. I'm going to try for a VBAC with this pg because I don't want to undergo a major surgery just because I have the option now, and I don't want to essentially "use up" my c/s "allowances" (in case we want more children of our own down the line, I don't want to be told that it'll be too dangerous because I've already had ______ c/s's). My OB said it's totally my choice since I've done both and had no issues or complications with either, now I'm starting to freak out a bit that again I'm going to have to push an entire person out of my vagina. Sure it went well the first time, but that doesn't mean it was fun or enjoyable, it hurt like heck to sit on any hard surface for days due to being snipped quite a bit.  My plan for the past 18m was to try for a VBAC, and I can't imagine that I'll opt for the scheduled c/s, but it's sounding kind of tempting (sure my c/s wasn't fun either, but it was a much less sensitive area being cut open).
