My DS has the cutest cowlick! I wanted to show it off. My DH's family always makes negative comments about it...like saying he must have slept on his hair weird so it's stuck like that or asking me why I always part his hair down the middle.
Any other babies out there with cowlicks? How do you tame them?
This is what happens when I don't brish his cowlick down after a bath lol. You can see how his hair normally is in my siggy.

Ian has 2...one on the crown of his head. I called him my rooster baby for a long time because it stood up like a ***'s Comb (that part on a rooster's head that sticks up). When he was a couple of months old, I cut it...because everyone kept commenting on it. Most of the time it was a cute comment but turned somewhat negative like OMG his hair is sticking up. It grew back, of course, and stuck up, so I left it and just started making the rest stick up like a mohawk. That was cute for a while. It finally started laying down as his hair got thicker. It still sticks up though, and no matter what I do to slick it down, if it wants to stick up, it's going to. The other one is at the nape of his neck...just like mine. Where your hair line comes to a point my hair grows "up" instead of down...a pain when I try to do my hair straight. Ian's looks like it's doing the same thing. He looks bald on one side of his head, but it's not, it's just the way his hair grows/lays to the side. I just let it go for now, there's not much I can do to tame it.
Edit: apparently TB does not like the word c o c k, I'm not meaning it dirty, that's what it's called
