Video Baby Monitors

Ladies,

My DH stated that he would like to get a video monitor for Charlie's room so we can what he is doing in there at nap time and if he is trying to climb out of the crib yet.

Do any of you ladies have / use one and which one would you recommend?

I highly recommend getting a wireless webcam instead of a traditional baby monitor. They are cheaper, more secure, and you can check them from anywhere in the world on your phone, computer, iPad, etc. we have myDlink brand.

That sounds like a great idea!  DD is 18 months and we are on our second video monitor, and the range on this one sucks.  This way you don't have to worry about range, just wifi

I got H a wireless webcam for Christmas to use as a security feature in our house when we go out of town (mostly though to spy on our dogs lol).  The annoying thing about it was that we had to have our laptop up and running for the signal to successfully transmit.  Do you have this problem?

We sent it back b/c we knew we weren't going to leave the computer running all day and night while we're gone.

No, never had that issue. Ours works when all our computers/devices are off. The only thing that has to be on is the internet -- which we leave on 100% of the time anyway.

This app is video and audio baby monitor with features such as night light, remotely played lullabies or talk back to baby. I love this app, use it every single day and costs only $4 Definitely can recommend as high quality baby monitor!
