Tell me about your s/n. Is it after the band? A more interesting story? tellmetellmetellme!!!
I love the band!!! However, I actually didn't think of them when I chose it. I wasn't feeling particularly creative and was trying to think of a cute word in Russian to use and thought of that one. I am originally from the former USSR (came here when I was a kid) - so there you are!
When did you move here? Do you have one of those amazingly beautiful accents? What part of the country were you from? What brought your family here?
Damn, I'm full of questions.
Hee, thanks! We moved here in 89, I dont have an accent (I wish!) I actually attribute that to learning language before puberty. There's a theory that if you learn a language before puberty, you're more likely to be fluent and w/o an accent. Don't quote me on that, but it's something to that effect I watched a lot of Sesame Street at a very late age and read a lot of books and I feel like English is actually my 1st language now, weird rt? I am from Ukraine. We came here for the very basic reason of looking to have a better life - and that definitely happened! Very happy to be here Especially since nothing has really changed over there since we left
