I haven't heard it much in my area. I like it and would have considered using it, but DH's cousin named her son Luke and I don't think DH would want to use it anymore.

It's one of my favorite boy names ever, but I would use Lucas, nn Luke. It is out for me because my last name starts with L and it sounds weird. But love Lucas and Luke.
Love it and don't think it's too popular. At least it's not a trendy mess like Braden or way overused like Owen, Mason, etc. I actually don't know any little Lukes.
Lucas (nn Luke) was on our short list (or so I thought!). I mentioned it again to DH this morning and he's like, nah, I don't like it. WTF! If this baby is a boy he's going to be called boy because we cannot decide on a boy name to save our life! Ugh. Sorry for the vent
Back to the original question - love Luke
Welcomed our baby boy Henry on March 15, 2013 (7 weeks early!)
I love Luke! I would prefer Lucas NN Luke. Anecdotal addition- as a kid I called my cousin Lucas "Mucous", I doubt most kids were as mean as me though in jest I still call him that when he picks on me.

Perfect amount of popularity IMO, and I just LOVE IT! It is such a strong, simple, classic, gorgeous name! I think it grows well, and is very masculine while still cute on a child. Love. it.
I like Luke, it's a saint's name. DH REALLY likes Luke because of Star Wars. But Luke paired with our super common LN is a celebrity name so I won't use it.
I hear Luke everywhere. For me, I am surprised it isn't higher in the popularity charts. My best friends name is Luke, my cousin's baby is named Luke, I have a cousin named Luke and 3 friends on facebook have named their baby boy Luke/Lucas within the past 2 years.
I do love the name though and totally see the appeal. If the popularity doesn't bother you, then I think you are good to go! ; )
Luke is one of the few names whose popularity does not deter me. I love it. I would personally probably do Lucas w/ nn Luke, but I like Luke as a standalone as well.

Love it.
Is the only boy name on my list. Unfortunately DH doesn't love it so much, so it's not on his list.
I like Luke a lot.
I don't really like Luca (though it reminds me of my friend's cat so maybe that's why I don't love it).

I love the name Luke, it will be on our boy list. I only know one other Luke.
I'm not a big fan of Lucas, though, but that might be because it dosent go with our last name.
