My little guy was born at 34w4d and will be 6w tomorrow (non-adjusted). He spent 5 days in the NICU and has been doing amazing since being discharged. He actually hit 10 pounds today.
So, for those that had late term preemies, do they hit their developmental milestones and growth spurts on time or does it end up being more in line with their adjusted age? Just wondering what everyone else experienced.
Re: Late term preemies - developmental milestones
Hi! DS was also born at 34w4d, born at 5lbs2oz and 19", spent 12 dats at the NICU, he is about to turn 3yo next month and he is super smart (I guess every momma says this about their lo's
Your LO's weight sounds awesome! How is that happening?!
He was alwats on track on his developmental milestones, we never referred to adjusted age when talking to his pedis. He has always been around 50% percentile on height, 25% percentile on weight, nothing to be concerned, he is just a very picky eater.
You shouldn't worry, GL!
