I went looking for a costume yesterday for DD and didn't see much I liked. I don't want anything too grown up. She will be 16 months at Halloween. I liked a pumpkin costume, but I'd prefer something more unique.
Any links or PIPs would be helpful! Thanks for your help :

Re: I need costume ideas
DD was 15 months last year at Halloween and she was a pink ladybug.
This year she's a little over 2 and she LOVES owls. (Her whole room is owls and she loves to watch owl videos on youtube. No, I'm not kidding). So she's going to be an Owl.
I got the costume at old navy and it's adorable, warm and it was only $18!!

I was also thinking of Elmo. I found one on Amazon, but some reviewers said it was too itchy and the fur sheds. I'd love to make something. I have a sewing machine. I just need to pick something that's doable.
Like PP said Old Navy has really cute toddler costumes at a reasonable price. One was a cupcake costume.
Elmo is cute. If you only plan on using the costume for a 1 time use then the fur shedding wouldn't bother me too much. As far as itching, you can dress her in tights and a long sleeve shirt underneath the costume.
A baby minstral?
This is DDs costume for this year ...
