If you got your period while BFing- question

If you got your period while BFing, especially if it happened early on, how regular was it?

I got my period at 8.5 weeks PP, had a 21 day cycle before getting it again, then a 28 day cycle. I just assumed it would be regular from here on out, but now I'm on day 31 or 32 and no sign of it. I took a pregnancy test on day 28 and it was negative, but I'm still freaking out. I'm not so great with the mini-pill... I can remember to take it within about a 2 hour window every morning, but not the exact same time.

Someone please tell me it's normal for it to still be irregular...

I didn't get it till just this month but I k ow it is normally to not get it regularly while BFing.

I got mine around four or five months and I've had it 3 times in the past month and a half. It is so messed up.

It can be very irregular. I got mine at about 4 months pp, then didn't have it again until baby was 11 months old. Although that could be because I added an evening pump around 10pm because my son was sleeping for 10+ hrs at night and it was too uncomfortable for me. When it came back when he was 11 months old, I got it every 2 to 3 weeks for awhile....ugh!

With my first son, I didn't have any periods until he weaned completely at 14 months old.
