Successful VBAC!!!!

I had my baby boy, Henry Alan, on Wednesday, 9/19, totally successful, natural VBAC!! I couldn't be happier, although I am still having trouble walking due to pain, so that is making me nervous, but other than that, things are great. All the work and stress we have to put into being able to do this is worth it. He was bigger than his sister that I couldn't push out and I only got a little tear on the side! I'll write out the whole birth story later if anyone wants to read it. I'm still pretty tired!

Congrats!! I hope the pain subsides soon. I had swelling, stiches and some awesome hemmies. The pain lasted a couple of weeks, but was definitely more manageable than the c/s pain. Goodluck!

Congratulations! It took me a couple of weeks to feel better after both of my vaginal deliveries. Hopefully you will be feeling better soon.

Congrats!!

My dr says he won't let me do a VBAC if this baby is bigger than my last (8lb 15 oz) so I am going to the next ICAN meeting to see if anyone knows of a provider who will just in case this baby is bigger. I really think I couldn't push her out bc of the epi and I hadn't slept in 2 days (I work night shift).

I think I was in the exact same boat, no sleep for going on 3 nights and the epi totally messed up the pushing. I know that for sure now since I pushed this one out and I know what it is supposed to feel like. I would try to find another Dr too, mine were so great, and so was my doula.
