Recommend your gate please

We have almost 2 year olds that have figured out how to get through the gate at the bottom of the stairs and it's driving me nuts!  Plus it's dangerous. What gate works for you?  I'm going to post this question on the 24+ board too.  Thanks!

I have a wood one from One Step Ahead. It cost a small fortune, but it looks good and is as sturdy as can be!

We have a Dream Baby gate. It's white and wall mounted, plus extra wide. We love it. It's really sturdy. I got it through WalMart online.

I have/had two of these and I LOVE them. They can be hardware or pressure mounted, and more importantly, they swing both ways. Although, I took our bottom of the stairs gate down months ago. I only use the top of stairs gate to trap her up there when I'm showering or something... are you sure you still need gates?

Yes for sure.  2 very active boys = falling down.  They don't get the concept of one at a time yet so they push past each other even when I'm there.  The other day they busted through the gate while I was brining in groceries and one fell down about 5 steps.

We have the Dream Baby as well and bought ours through Amazon. I got it because it was tall enough that the cat didn't want to jump over it. We are happy with it.

We got this one for the top of our stairs leading to the den - The First Years Hands Free Gate: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000058CC7/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00 We love it.  The gate has a foot pedal so babies can't easily open it.  Good Luck.
