or cups. DS is totally uninterested in stacking blocks or using his nestling cups the "right" way. I'll stack them for him and he just likes to knock them down little stinker.
I really don't think my DS was doing that yet at 15 months. Even now, he tries, but doesn't have too much patience to figure out which can stack on top of which, or fit inside of which...
DS (7 years old) from FET in 2010 DD (5 years old) from IUI in 2012 TTC 3rd and final!: IUI #1 in progress!
My DD (19mos) CAN do it, but it's not something she's particularly interested in. This developmental checklist item is looking at mostly fine motor skill development, plus some imitation/toy play. So think of it more broadly...if your DS is demonstrating age appropriate fine motor and toy/object imitation skills in other activities, this one little thing probably isn't something to worry about.
No block stacking here. No interest in them either. DD will be 15 months next week. As for the cups, she loves to bang them together, but not stack them.
DS is 15 months and is stacking blocks but the most he has stacked is 5 and then knocks them down and walks away. I'm sure he doesn't really get the point of it and isn't interested so i'm not going to really worry about it and actually never thought of it as a milestone (is it?)
Re: 15 month old doesn't stack blocks....

Mine doesn't do it either.
Whatever.
She'll learn it in time.
DS isn't 15 months yet, but is definitely not stacking blocks. In fact, he does everything but; chews, throws, knocks down, etc. You get the point ;-)
I wouldn't worry. I don't think its uncommon.
Ha! I just stacked a bunch of plastic logo cups I had laying around. I just picked different sizes so they stacked together.
Nesting cups are fun but I have a 100..I'm not buying more just for a specific purpose!
