Such a Cool Experience!!!

I have been able to see the little one and it's heartbeat on ultrasounds but haven't actually been able to hear it yet. I had a little bit of spotting again yesterday but it disappeared after that one time. I was still nervous but couldn't take off of work to go and get things checked out. My friend was nice enough to let me borrow her handheld doppler and I just now found the heartbeat!!! It was amazing to hear and see the numbers flashing. I just had to AW myself :)

    I think my baby is doing the Macarena in there! I got my Doppler and it took me about half an hour to find the HB, and it kept moving and fading in and out.  The little booger. I only got about 30 second intervals each time. 

    Glad you got to hear it! It's such a nice relief to hear it!

    Congrats on hearing your little one! We are scheduled to hear ours at my OB's office at my 12w appointment on Friday.

    Where about on your abdomen are you both able to find the heartbeat? I've been listening along my pubic bone and a little higher, but I still haven't heard anything with my doppler. We saw it at 8w on ultrasound... maybe my machine just isn't high-tech enough to hear it yet!

    I found it right along the upper left side of my pubic bone, I had tried several times to find something and all of a sudden it showed up. I also have my 12 week appointment next Thursday and we'll get to hear it there as well, hopefully :)

    The nurse found the hb on my upper left side as well.  I was 8w6d when it was found.  Hope you hear it soon!

    I borrowed mine from a friend and she said she ordered it online. I'm not sure about any in-store places.

    fetaldoppler.net has the best deals that i was able to find. I have the sonoline c1 which i've heard a lot of other girls on the bump have too.

    my OB kind of chuckled when my husband told him we had one and said it would probably cause more worry than excitement... just had to put in the disclaimer!
