2 cats: Gladys & Myrtle
2 dogs: Charles & Camilla (Corgis, of course)
2 dogs: Nickel & Dime (This is DH's answer because he had a Boston Terrier he named Penny as a kid.)Dogs: Either Thor and Beowolf nn Beo, or Thor and Zeus.
Cats: We only want one cat, so only have one cat name picked out, Bubbles. DH's favourite TV show, Trailer Park Boys, has a character named Bubbles who loves cats.
DH wants a bulldog that he can name Thunderstumper.
I would like a cat that I can name Ruby. But, I don't really like cats so this isn't happening. Our current cat is named Cat Cat.
If we get another dog (NOT Thunderstumper), I like Tinsley, after Boyd Tinsley b/c I love love love DMB and that is what a psycho fan would do. :-)
Our malteses are McLovin and Lucy. Lucy was going to be Darth Vader, but wound up being a girl, so we named her after her mother.
My husband is allergic to cats. Future top dog contenders are Falcor and Sir Didymus.
Current cats: Zanu and Zemi -big, black, male cats. The names are in my DH's local dialect and mean "night" and "pick me up".
Currently we have 2 cats: Oskar and Grover. My previous cat was Aleksandr.
I think if we got another boy cat, he would be Fritz and a girl would probably be some girl name that I like, but will never be able to use because we are only having one child. As it stands we have no more pet plans for the foreseeable future.
And we are not dog people, but my dad has a dog named Bonnie.

That is an awesome name for a cat!
I have two border collies. They are brothers and one is the uncle to the other (neighbour dog got in and knocked up a mom and daughter). They both have the traditional border collie pattern (like Fly on Babe) but one is black and the other is a brown mix. We named them Smokey and Bandit (Burt Reynolds movie).
My other top pick when we were deciding names was Sam and Dean (from Supernatural
). DH really wanted to name them Harold and Kumar (go to Whitecastle).

I have a dog named Henry. If I got another dog, it would probably be a girl and I'd name her Olive.
I also like Agnes and Rosemary for cats.
We have 2 dogs, Jude and Lucy. Our previous female dog was Penny Lane. (I assume you see our theme here.)
If we had 2 cats, maybe Martha and Desmond?
Our pet names are music-themed, and will probably continue to be:
Male dog - full name John Henry Bonham after the drummer from Led Zeppelin. We call him Bonham and only use John Henry when he's in trouble
Female dog - Josephine, from a Black Crowes song. Also, when we go for walks I really get a kick out of saying "Get back, JoJo!" (Beatles....)
Next dog name - Eleanor Rigby, called Rigby. (this was going to be our current female dog's name, but it just didn't seem to fit her so we went with Josephine instead)
DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....

Our current dog (a black puggle) is named Poe, and for a time we had a puggle sibset of Poe and Motley. Motley was a male fawn puggle.
If we got another male dog, I wouldn't mind re-using the name Motley. We didn't have the other Motley for very long, so it doesn't feel tied to one animal for me.
At one point, I had five(!) cats, and their names were Patch, Stinky, Jaden, Skecher, and Tricky. Tricky was the only girl.

I would never own a cat but I always give pets human names so they'd be regular names.

My FI and I got cats almost 2 years ago.. I got to name one, he named the other! I named mine Asher and he named his Midnight.
I've always wanted a pet named Daisy. It's my mom's favorite flower as well as mine, plus it was my sorority's flower. I love the name Sadie too, but would probably use it for a pet over a kid. That's what my "plan" is for future pets - using names that I like but don't want to "save" for future kids.
I also like to use names that have some sort of meaning. I named a litter of kittens at FI's parents house one year - Oliver (after the Disney movie), Mo (after a friend's old cat I loved, plus he had that M on his forehead!), April (because they were born in April) and Gemini (she had markings on her face that made her look like two cats - she was later renamed Scribbles). I was looking up different themes for other litters but I ended up not naming them before they went to their new homes. I was leaning toward Greek gods/goddesses and names from movies/TV shows.
I like my sister's cats names - Kiara and Koda. Both are Disney names (she's obsessed) and fit them both so well!

Growing up, we had 2 cats named Sam and Troubles. Troubles got her name because Sam had trouble with this new kitten for a while. After the cats, we had dogs; a golden mix named Sandy, and a small mutt named Jessie.

I realize I don't name animals like I name children. I don't really think about sibsets when it comes to animals (as evidenced by Beastman and Valentino).
My cat as a kid (I got to name) was Katie. My first cat as an adult was Sebastian but he passed away almost a year ago.
We were starting to TTC when we got our second cat so we skipped the human name (I regret not being able to use Sebastian for a baby). He goes by Kavi but his full name is Ebon Askavi. From a book series means black mountain.
Our third cat (got after Sebastian- we are a two cat max house) goes by Tatsu, full name Shiro Tatsu- white dragon.
Both our current cats are bengals, Kavi is a brown/black marble and Tatsu is a snow/smoke marble. I believe strongly that cats need names suited to their personalities. Tatsu was going to be Snowy or Smokey until we were bringing him home and it was just completely clear that neither fit him at all. He's my little dragon. We did add the Shiro to his name to sibset/compliment Kavi's Ebon.

We have no pets currently. We'd like to get a dog in the future.
We currently have quite a few dog names on file to use and they all revolve around favorite tv show characterts ha!
Dog Names: McGee, Dinozzo (for a mini dauschund), Mozie
This makes me think of a girl I know that has 2 kittys...Mr. Bojangles and Sally Fields (becuase she found her in field! ha!)

Nope,I don't plan them out. I just go with what fits the pet when I meet them.
Right now we have 3 dogs: Bijou (I didn't name her though), Colston, and Tucker.
We also have 3 cats: Marshall, Simon Wigglesworth (aka Swiggles) and Liam.
I wouldn't exactly call them "sibsets" though. I'm not really into matchy names, for pets or kids.

Hmm... I've never really thought about pet names.
Our current dog is a yellow lab named Honey. Her parents (my parents' dogs) are Oscar (yellow lab) and Emmy (chocolate lab). My parents also had another black lab named Grammy. Yes, all after the awards. They even thought about getting a silver lab and name him/her Nobel. Sadly, that didn't happen.
My dogs name is Tank, and we would like to get a cat at some point and name him Bradley.
Dogs names I couldn`t plan in advance because it would depend on the breed we got. And I like so many different breeds and mutts I wouldn`t know what I would get until I was paying for it!

DH & I each named one, with very little input from one another.
At times, it is tempting to handle human naming the same way.
Current: We have a dog named Hazel. I would say Hazel and Lily because my DH and I had a dog for 5 yrs and she ran away or got stolen and her name was Lily. =(
We don't like cats. We are allergic.
My mom and dad have a bloodhound named Otis, a mixed rescue named Gunther, and a Mastiff/ Shepherd Mix named Huckleberry (Huck for short). They are seriously gentle giants and I love their names.
