I don't really know where this post belongs but.. I used to take birth contol (pill) but I have had a history of headaches not due to the pill. When I seen a neurologists he put me on medicine that counteracts with the pill so technically the pill wouldn't really be preventing me from getting pregnant. So I quit taking it. Lately we've been using condoms and the pull out method but everytime after we have sex I freak out about possibly getting pregnant. Thankfully I'm not because I just started today. But anyways I said all of that to see what are some alternate and good ways of birth control that you ladies recommend? I'm tired of freaking out.
Re: Birth Control
Maybe you could talk to your doctor about non-hormonal birth control, like an IUD.

I'm on the NuvaRing. I have no idea if it would counteract the Rx for your headaches though.
This is probably something that is best discussed with your OB/doctor.
Talk to your doctors about an IUD, either Paraguard (non-hormonal) or Mirena (hormonal but very low dose because it's already so close to everything. You could also check out Nuva-Ring (similar idea to Mirena but remove it every month instead of being semi-permanent).
Otherwise read up on Natural Family Planning, a lot of the girls on here do it and have had good success with it. GL!
the butt.
totally kidding. I would say IUD for sure. (check to see if/what your insurance covers because they can be $$$ without coverage... then you might stick to the butt method )
I read something somewhere about an aspirin between the knees. . . but we just chart & use c-film and condoms and abstinence. It's a whole complicated thing most people aren't up for but I am because I can't take hormonal b/c and hubs isn't ready for the snip snip and a 4th child would make me lose my mind.
