A few weeks after chemical, is this normal?

I normally post on the IF board, but I was hoping you ladies here could answer me. I experienced a CP in late August, then had a normal/slightly heavier period about a week late. (I was only 4 weeks). So, I thought everything was normal. I had my lh surge as usual about 2 weeks later. Now 3 days after ovulation. I'm having some very light brown and mucousy discharge. Not much, but just there when I use the bathroom...(sorry if TMI).. Its way too early for AF. Any have this before? Is it possible to retain tissue from a pregnancy even after AF has come and gone and ovulation has occurred? Starting to worry about infections, etc... Any answers?

So sorry for your loss. This happened to me during my last loss though it was at 9.5 weeks that time. I did get a period and then went to my RE for a full work up. He saw some retained tissue in the ultrasound so it is very possible. He believes it was leftover from my pregnancy. Luckily it came out on its own without me needing another D and C. He did say that the tissue in there would need to come out prior to getting pregnant again. I would tell your doctor about it if it continues and maybe he/she could take a look. If this isn't the case maybe your body is just readjusting to your cycle again. Best of luck to you.

I should also mention that it didn't cause any infection.
