Eggplant parmesan to induce labor

My DH called me today and told me about a restaurant near Atlanta that is so confident that their eggplant parmesan will cause you to go into labor that if it doesn't they will give you a refund!

He came home from work with an eggplant from the local farmers market for me to try it out : I'll let everyone know if it works!

i'd be interested to hear.. ive been eating eggplant parm my entire pregnancy simply because we like it....no baby yet and past my due date

We went to the Scalini's itself on Friday night, 2 days before my due date, to eat Eggplant Parmesan. No labor at all. I had a repeat Csection on Tuesday. I hope it works better for you!

I tried eggplant parm a couple of weeks ago from an italian restaurant nearby and it actually did give me contractions but no labor unfortunately. I made grilled eggplant for lunch today, maybe it will do the trick

My doctor gave me a printout of the Scalini's recipe at my appointment last week - she said she gives it to all her patients because it worked for her with her two kids.

I am making it for dinner tonight...if nothing else, it should be a nice dinner!!

I went there at 39 weeks with my son - didn't work! But I am going to go back again with this one on my due date. Either way - it's still delicious!! They also have you sign a book with your name and due date, kinda fun to see how many people have tried! It did work for a friend of mine, I think the baby gets a t-shirt and the mom gets a gift certificate for dinner if it is successful.
