MINE!!!

Dear Lord, DS finally learned this word. And it is so hard not to laugh at him as he's trying to figure out what it means. This morning he didn't want to get dressed so he threw himself on the floor in meltdown mode screeching, "Miiiiine! Mine! Mine! Minnnnneeee!" Wooo-boy. I hope this passes quickly. It's been about 18 hours since I first heard him say it, and I'm already sick of it.

Lol  too funny! We've heard "mine" a couple of times, and I raised my brows when i first heard it since he isn't in daycare and we don't do a ton of playgroups, so not totally sure where he learned it.....He is fixated on "NO" though and it comes in a variety of sounds and lengths.....I'm very tired of NO, but it is hilarious hearing him say it to all sorts of our questions or directions  (FWIW he does know and use YES as well, but he just prefers to say NO, must be his stubborn streak)

Hey!  We've had this one for about a week.  Everything is "MINE".  It's really annoying.    Mostly, my things appear to actually be his.  He just screams, "Mine, mine, mine!" all day long.  I blamed the other toddlers at daycare for teaching him this one!  However, we've also heard "grape", "sock", and "bubble" this week too, so that's good. Here's to hoping they forget they ever heard the word soon!

I'm sorry but that's too funny!  T tells us who's everything is now.  It's "Tor (Thor) Mine' or 'Mama mine' or 'daddy mine'  It's how he shows possession apparently...

We just got this about a week ago as well. I'm surprised it took so long because it sounds like the seagulls from Finding Nemo in the toddler room at daycare and all those kids are younger than her. "Mine mine mine mine mine."

Yep, we're there too. Sometimes he says it at the most random moment. He'll be eating dinner, pick up a piece of food and say mine.

I love the melt-down 'mine'.  That's hysterical!

We haven't had it too much here, but I'm dreading the day it comes.

Ah we have been getting that here too!! I think big bro is the influence! LO is definitely saying it much sooner than big bro did!!

This is us too... I hardly ever hear yes anymore,
