Rice + arsenic???

My son has a lot of food allergies & only 4 teeth, so he eats Earth's Best brown rice & green pea or lentil 1 jar every day.  I'm a little nervous about the recent arsenic reports.  Is anyone else nervous?  Has anyone else stopped feeding their child this?  Has anyone else called their pedi about it?

I think some of that stuff is little blown out of proportion and arsenic is found naturally in a lot of things.  There was some hype about apple juice a while back.  I will say, rice doesn't have much nutritional value so I skipped it entirely and went straight to habby bellies oatmeal.  The only time DS got rice is if we were doing the BRAT diet for a stomach bug.

This. I obviously want to have a healthy awareness of what we eat in our household but I also remember to keep it in perspective. It's not as if rice hasn't been consumed in America for decades or anything
