Is the c-section scheduled? I packed a bag when I was 28 weeks in case baby came early, but I wasn't having a c-section.
My bag included:
snacks for DH, cell phone charger, slippers for me, fuzzy socks, stretchy pants and t-shirts for me, nursing bras, sleeping bras, chapstick, camera, extra camera battery, notebook and pen
I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. I remember being glad that I brought fuzzy socks because none of my shoes fit because of swelling.
It probably wouldn't hurt to pack things you don't need between now and then or things you may forget.
Having a c-section shouldn't alter your packing too much. You will be there longer, so decide if you want to wear the gowns the whole time or risk getting your own clothes gross. Either way, it was nice to have nursing tanks. You'll want to be sure your pants and underwear don't rub on your incision, so full-panel maternity pants, sweats/yoga pants you can hike up or a dress or skirt might be a smart choice. But those are probably things you would wear in the next 3 months so don't pack them.
You could also pack babies outfit(s) and other things you won't need now. Have a list of what isn't in there but should be in case you do have to run out the door!
last time round I didn?t pack until just before on our way to the hospital.
I did however have a large drawer that was just for my hospital bag things. I started putting stuff in there when I was about 30 weeks after researching on the net what I thought I?d need .
I prefered doing it that way as I changed my mind so often and took out and added stuff as I went along depending on what info I?d come across that day.
at about 38 weeks I made up a pretty firm check list and ticked the things off to make sure I had them ready to go.
I also had a section of stuff I thought DH wld need as he was my birth partner. THAT was super usefull as DH just didnt have a clue. He was in charge of bringing the camera, batteries, money, phones etc
When the time arrived I just scooped everything up into 2 bags and off we went
I packed around 30 or 32 weeks. I made a detailed check list though that I could go over closer to the due date to make sure I didn't forget the little things like hair brush, tooth brush and what not.
I packed it the same way I would if I was going away for 3 or 4 days on vacation. Magazines, books, clothes, undies, charger, portable DVD player, shampoo and condition, razer (at least for the under arms. I couldn't reach my legs to save my life for 2 weeks after I had my first). Easy snacks like breakfast and granola bars, camera, extra battery and extra memory card, and so on.
Then, I had a smaller bag that fit in my travel back for baby that had diapers, wipes, clothes, hats, a few different pacifiers, and so on.
This time I will be bringing my pump just in case I have issues like I did with my first and latch.
I was a late packer..I waited till around 37 weeks. I packed the things I wouldn't be using, baby's clothes, his boppy, toiletries, an outfit for DH, fluffy socks/slippers, a set of pjs, etc. I did have a list of last minute things I would need to pack right on top of my bag so I wouldn't forget anything. This time around I'll be having a RCS so I'll probably pack 2 weeks in advance just in case I go into labor early.
With my first pregnancy, I was planning to pack at 38 weeks and ended up packing in a rush after my water broke. It was not good...there were several things I wish I had had but didn't. My second pregnancy and this time around I will be packed at 36 weeks in case I go early again :-)

This is what happened to me with my first. I will also be packing early, except I will pack at 34 weeks since my first came at 34w6d.
