Where to buy leggings/tights?

I have a feeling we are headed into a dresses only winter.  Any suggestions on where to get (cheap) leggings and tights that will stand some abuse?  We don't actually have the dresses either yet but I can't spend a zillion dollars on a wardrobe when she's a SAH kid.

I got a ton of tights at a consignment sale for cheap. Maybe you have something in your area? Leggings- I got some on sale at Gymboree in the red bins. If you aren't opposed to Walmart, the garanimals always has cheap leggings. I do those too.

Believe it or not, I saw 3 packs of tights at BJs for cheap. They were solid and stripes/print in one pack. They didn't have DD's size when I was there but will check back. I was looking for socks for DS and I saw them.

I would try Walmart and Target first. Crazy 8, Gymboree, Carter's, Oshkosh, TCP, and Old Navy all have them too, but the price may be higher than you want to pay. We ended up getting most of DD1's at ON and Oshkosh bc she needs the slimmer fit. DD2's are mostly Walmart and Target.

I went to a local consignment sale this weekend and got 5 dresses and 3 pairs of leggings.

Target, Kohl's, ?  I am always looking for more.  I would, however, avoid Walmart.  Any pants/leggings DD has gotten from there have gotten holes where the seams are within a couple of wears.

We typically get that type of stuff at Target.  I have gotten some from Old Navy that are good quality but just don't fit my girls well.

Carter's has 2 packs of leggings for 10. Their leggings have always held up best to everyday wear and tear.
