But more for the LOs or the general spending question.  What are you planning to get your DH/SO this year?  I'm trying to plan ahead (and yes, I realize that three months out, to some I am already behind) and budget accordingly and just trying to gather my ideas.  I'm thinking a Garmin GPS watch for his training if he doesn't just buy it himself by then and, again if he doesn't get it himself, the new iPhone.  And Spongebob PJ bottoms and a new pair of slippers (seriously...every year I buy him a new pair...if I don't, something is wrong).  But trying to come up with other ideas as well.

DH's birthday is in November so I never start thinking about Christmas presents until after that. I've been thinking about getting him a Kindle for his bday, though.

we desperately need a new camera, so we're buying that sometime just before Christmas & it will be our gift to each other.  So that's one less thing to worry about having to figure out this year, score!

My DH is the hardest person to buy for because he never wants anything. So I am just going to look at all your ideas.

We decided to only do small things for each other this year and focus mostly on DS and getting ready for DS#2.

He will be running the Houston Marathon in January and starts hard-core training this week. I will be buying him a new pair of Oakley sunglasses that he's been coveting and adding on the option to polarize them. That's pretty expensive so that will probably be his only gift from DD and I.

DH will probably get clothes. He needs them and if I don't buy them for him for Christmas or his birthday, he would never get anything. The man refuses to shop! So, he will probably get some new shirts and maybe a pair of shorts for the Spring.

The girls (LO2 is arriving the week before Christmas) will be getting a shared gift- a Disney Princess kitchen and accessories. LO1 will be getting a motorized scooter for the backyard, some diapers, and a baby bed. I'm sure she will get a few other things, but that's all I have planned right now.

I will also be giving the girls a gift from me and dh on Christmas Eve- matching pajamas (for them to look good in Christmas pics).

I can't wait to put my girls in matching Christmas dresses.

This! DH's b-day is Nov 26. It's a struggle every year trying to figure out two good gifts in less than a month!
