Where are you in your PAL journey?

 I am hanging out with my almost 8 month old. We are doing well. I love being a SAHM!

What are some PAL challenges you have faced recently?

Seperation anxiety!!! OMG it is bad! He has to have a hand on me at all times, I pee with him in my lap : / Yesterday I sat him down for two minutes and he screamed so much he threw up. Oi!

And the kicker is that I don't want to let him cry b/c what if something happens to him?  I don't want him to think I didn't love him, so we may as well be glued together...

 QOTW: Does your SO have a fair share in parenting your LO?

 Nope, not at all, although he is getting very cuddly with him.

My 7 year old being a rotten mess in school, sigh.

GTKY: Have you done anything embarrassing lately?

I went into an adult store for the first time ever...That was pretty embarrassing..

 Where are you in your PAL journey? It now has been over a year and a half since Ian became an angel. It hurts. A lot.Zachary is now seven months old. Wow. I can't believe how big he is getting already!  What are some PAL challenges you have faced recently? I have made some progress with getting him to sleep out of his swing. I have moved his PNP into our room and have been trying to get him to sleep in there. The first night was okay. He woke up every 2-3 hours but then he would go right back down. The second night was HE!!. He refused to sleep in the PNP. I was sooo tired that I tried CIO. He ended up screaming like I have never heard him scream before. It was a complete fail! I felt so horrible. But then last night he did great. He slept for 5 straight hours in the PNP, woke up to nurse, then went right back down again for another 4 hours. FX that tonight goes well! QOTW: Does your SO have a fair share in parenting your LO? Sigh, no not at all. A little more help would be appreciated. He had better step up more when I have to go back to work in February.  Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? My SIL is PgAL and due on Zachary's BDay. (she had an early miscarriage at the beginning of the year) Anyway, she called me yesterday wanting to borrow my Doppler b/c she was having some bleeding. I feel really bad b/c my cousin has it right now so I couldn't lend it to her. She has been feeling movement so she isn't too worried yet but she set up an ultrasound for tomorrow just to make sure everything is okay. So of course I am worried for her.   GTKY: Have you done anything embarrassing lately? I have lived in my small town all my life. You would think that I would know the area really well.So I had signed up for a moms and babies group to take Zachary to that is held every Wednesday in the next town over. It takes place at one of the schools. For some reason I got the schools mixed up and had to call for directions. That was embarrassing enough, but to make matters worse, when I called I was in the beer store parking lot and when the lady asked where I was coming from I had to say I was coming from the beer store. After I got there the lady asked the group if "the beer lady" was here yet b/c she didn't want to start without me. So I am now known as "the beer lady". Great.
