Hello Ladies,Welcome to Thursday PGAL Check-In! I hope I find you all well and positive this week! If you have any questions you would like answered, please don't be shy! You can also ask the PAL ladies. Bake, little buns, bake! How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)?Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time?
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
I am 20 weeks 1 day.
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?
We had our a/s 2 weeks ago and found out that this baby does NOT have what Grace had and is a healthy little girl. It honestly felt very surreal. All I know is loss, this is new territory.
QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)?
Early on I had one, and it was very sweet, but not sense then.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?
Today is the one year anniversary of my due date with Grace....even though she was born May 4, this is when I think about that she should be one. What is weird is that she was born at 20 weeks 1 day, and I am 20 weeks 1 day today. I had a good ugly cry last night and feel a little teary today. I am going to make a donation somewhere in her honor and put flowers on her grave this weekend. It is a weird place to be happy for one baby but still deeply grieve another. Everytime someone says something about this baby I have this internal reaction like I want to say something about Grace too so she is never forgotten.
GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time?
I don't know that I have one right now. I am still struggling some with food. Not a lot sounds good, though if something is prepared, or easy to prepare, I will eat some of it. Thinking of what to eat each day is still a little bit of a chore and if I could eat ice cream 3 times a day, I probably would
I hope you all are doing well and that your babies are growing healthy and strong. If anyone ever needs me, I am always available, email is best at jenn (dot) craver (at) yahoo (dot) com or on the FB loss group.
Hugs, Jenn
We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
How far along are you/ which size fruit? 13 weeks, a peach
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I actually have an OB appointment tomorrow, my appointment with the high risk Dr, next week, and an appointment with my endocrinologist the week after. I'll have a lot of driving to do!
QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)? No
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Fustrated that no matter how hard I try to control my blood sugar, I am still going to get bad numbers at times
GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? I like anything that someone else will make for me
My little boy went to heaven during childbirth

Big, big hugs today Jenn
My little boy went to heaven during childbirth
type 1 diabetic for 7 years. Been on the pump for 6 years.
((HUGS)) to ally and nola today. Loss milestones are hard. How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?10+5 by o date, but measuring ahead at every sono, so I'm a very large strawberry! Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? We had an appointment this morning. I was terrified all day yesterday and last night. Though I had no reason to expect bad news, we all know that doesn't mean we won't get it! Today is one year since we found out we were expecting our Patricia. Thankfully, we had another good morning. Baby was wiggling around with a strong heartbeat! QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)?I have crazy pregnancy dreams, but I did have a dream a few nights ago that included a live baby. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?We are going into the fall months and I so associate this season with Patricia. I want to keep her memory so alive in my heart while at the same time, do my best to bond with her sibling. GTKY:
What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or
dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time?I love breakfast foods, so I enjoy breakfast/brunch. But I also love a good steak and baked potato or a huge salad for dinner. I guess lunch is the only one I have no special feelings towards!
My anatomy scan is coming up on 10/10 at 19 weeks 3 days. I found out about Avery's condition at my anatomy scan for her when I was 18 weeks 3days, so I am very anxious and nervous for that.
No baby dreams yet, but I have had some crazy regular dreams!
I'm really starting to show to look pregnant, so I am dreading the inevitable pregnancy small talk that is to come. I am excited that my church is enacting the rite of blessing children in the womb because of Avery. I will be the first to receive this blessing on Sunday.
I love all food! I guess I like dinner best since it is the most relaxed time of my day. I LOVE Italian food!
My angel Avery- 2/16/12, My rainbow Blake= 3/4/13, Joyfully awaiting #3 5/11/15
Big hugs Nola & Ally!!! Ally we are both exactly 20 weeks 1 day
Today I'm 20 weeks 1 day, cantaloupes
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I go weekly but my next big appt is my fetal echo scan in 2 weeks
QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)? Yes I dreamed these babies were also a boy and a girl and I was right!
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Getting a bit nervous since I'm close to my loss milestone. Also trying to name our baby boy. Names are hard especially when you already used your favorite names on your angel(s).
GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? Breakfast - so easy to make! I've been loving grits n eggs. Yup I lived in the south for a while. Problem is I'm hungry soon after so then I have a bowl of cereal or waffles with pbj.
IVF #1 BFP b/g twins!; loss at 23 weeks due to I.C. and PTL.
IVF #2 BFP 5/26/12; due date 2/6/13; TAC surgery 7/20/12, blessed with another girl & boy!
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?I am 6 weeks 4 days( I need to change my ticker) & the baby is the size of a sweet pea. Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?I just had my first apt on Tuesday and everything looks good! We saw our little bean's heart beating away and we were able to hear the heartbeat too! The doctor wants me to go back for another ultrasound next Tuesday to determine exactly how far along I am--according to my LMP I should be almost 8 weeks but I know that I ovulated way late. QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)?I haven't had any dreams yet... Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?I have been a nervous wreck about this pregnancy. I keep thinking that something is going to go wrong:-( I just have a hard time believing that this pregnancy is real. GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? Right now, I cannot stand the thought of food! I have been forcing myself to eat and nothing sounds good to me. Usually, lunch is my favorite meal--I love sandwiches & soup!
I know I don't post much on The Bump but I will try to be better about that! :-)
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?
Currently I am 13 weeks, 6 days so I am a peach, but I graduate to a lemon tomorrow!
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Next appointment with OB is in 2 weeks, our anatomy scan is scheduled in 5 weeks.
QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)? Yes! The first 8 weeks of my pregnancy I slept horribly....only getting maybe 2 or 3 hours each night. The night before I had my first ultrasound I had a dream about my angel baby and she told me everything would be OK. I have slept fine every night since then.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I am very thankful that I have such a kind and compassionate doctor. She stayed with my husband and I at the hospital until 2:00 in the morning, she wasn't even on call that night. She arranged to have a friend come to the hospital and make a ceramic impression of our little angel's footprint, we got the little footprint at our last doctor's appointment. It is such a precious gift, it means so very much to my husband and I.
GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? I like dinner the best since it's the only meal that my husband and I usually eat together. Right now, I pretty much like to eat anything! On days that I work I look forward to lunch, my husband makes my lunch for me each day and he always puts a little note or drawing in there, I always look forward to what he has written or drawn.
An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby's birth. Then whispered as she closed the book, "Too beautiful for earth."
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? I am 6w2d by O date, and 7w0d by LMP. I'll figure it out after my first u/s.
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? My first u/s is in 11 days (but who's counting?) and I can't wait! I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible and take it one day at a time.
QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)? No, not yet. I really didn't the first time around either, so we'll see if I do this time.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Today is my EDD for my loss (and I see that it is ally2011's as well -- big HUGS to you!). It's been tough, but the weeks leading up to today were worse than today has been. Today is also DH's birthday, so I'm really trying to concentrate on that and only think happy thoughts about our son (even though it makes me sad).
GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? I love dinner, because it is the only meal that DH and I eat together. And I love comfort food -- meat and potatoes, please!
Hugs to you too! I hope you made it through ok. I was a total mess last night - angry, exhausted and very sad - but have been much better today. You had I have the same BFP and EDD dates...they are just 1 year a part. Crazy! I am so sorry for your loss and hoping the weekend is better for you.
Hugs,
Jenn
We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?I'm a little late to the thread, so I just changed over to 14 weeks--a lemon. Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? We just had an appointment on Thursday and have another 2 weeks after that (we have them so often just because of our anxiety!). Last time around we found out B had died at 14 and a half weeks, so this week makes me nervous. We did luckily get an ultrasound at our last appointment and were able to see the baby's abdomen and saw no signs of a cyst of any kind which was reassuring. QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)?I pretty much have never dreamed about B or Alice, not while I was pregnant with them or after. This time around I have had one baby dream just a few nights ago (a night that was feeling some stomach and pelvic pains--I think from constipation--but I was freaking out that something could be wrong). I dreamed I was 23 weeks and was leaking amniotic fluid and was in l&d triage. They weren't sure if they could stop me from delivering and in the dream I just thought "well of course, I'm 1 week from viability and I'm going to lose this baby too." Ugh. Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?Well we're now in the 2nd trimester which is more scary because of our losses. But also *should* be better in terms of the nausea and tiredness. I don't know though--I threw up for the first time yesterday so it seems like it might be getting worse. We have started taking belly pictures and we need to make our chain link for the 2nd trimester (one slip of paper for everyday that we take off daily)--we left off at 13 weeks 3 days and have been too busy and tired to start the next chain. (Also I think the next chain seems scarier--since it's hard to believe we will make it to the end of that one.) GTKY:
What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or
dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? Usually dinner would be my favorite, but lately all meals are a lot of less fun with the queasiness and aversions. I can't think off the top of my head what is my usual favorite. I do know right before I got pregnant this time I made the most amazing homemade ice cream cake and if I finally get that pregnancy hunger and lose the food aversions I'm going to make and devour another one.
BFP #1 9/21/11. EDD 6/4/12. Twins discovered at 8 weeks. Twin B lost at 14 weeks due to megacystis. Alice Joe born and lost 1/5/12 at 18.5 weeks due to pre-term labor.
BFP #2 7/11/12. EDD 3/23/13. Ada Alice born 3/20/13.
How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week? I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow. I'm an eggplant today and I think tomorrow is a squash (looks more like a pumpkin to me).
Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I have an appt. with the hematologist on Monday, and with the perinatologist on Friday for a growth scan. I'm looking forward to getting to see LO again.
QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)? Only loss dreams. I have never dreamed about Eliott either - both when I was pregnat or after losing him.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? ****LOSS SCARE MENTIONED***
I had a HUGE scare 2 nights ago - I had gotten up to go to the bathroom and realized that both that time and the last time I was up, I hadn't felt LO moving. I got the doppler and couldn't find a HB where I usually do. I freaked...I started having a panic attack and my pulse went really high. I found something down really low, but I thought it was my own HB (since by that time mine was in the 140s-150s). I woke up DH and he listened and said it was the baby, but it took a long time for me to be convinced. After I had finally calmed down some, I could clearly tell it was her HB. It was horrible - I seriously thought I was going to lose her, too. Of course, right after I turned off the doppler, she kicked.
GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? Definitely lunch - I am still feeling sick in the mornings, so breakfast isn't always fun, and I have heartburn by dinner time. At lunch, I usually feel pretty good.
Mom to Eliott Alexander, born sleeping at 37 weeks on 8/13/10. Most of us only dream of angels - I held one in my arms. BFP #2 - EDD 2/26/12 M/C 6/28/11 @ 5w2d BFP #3 - EDD 4/7/12 M/C 8/2/11 @ 4w2d Too beautiful for this earth BFP #4 - EDD 12/09/12, Lucille arrived 11/26/12

How far along are you? What size fruit is your baby this week?I'm 27 weeks 1 day. Baby is a cabbage. Not too sure about this ticker- it said I was a cabbage last week! Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?I just hit 3rd Tri. I have my weekly appt on Tues. 28 weeks will be on Friday. QOTW: Have you had any dreams about your rainbow baby(s)?I had an awful, awful dream a few nights ago. I delivered early and the baby was so tiny- like smaller than my hand. I wondered why the baby was so small if I was 26+ weeks. They gave the baby to us in a little padded envelope and it was alive. Their attitude was "if it lives, it lives". There was another baby, too. Nearly full term and healthy. I think that baby was supposed to be Nathaniel and this one was the new baby. We were kind of ignoring that baby because we were so worried about the little one. I woke up so freaked out. I had had a dream earlier that night about finding my daughter limp and not breathing. I don't know wtf was going on that night but I could do without these kind of pg dreams! Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?Happy to have hit 3rd tri. Getting antsy w/ the bed rest but trying not to get too comfortable. Starting to think about the delivery and my risk for pp hemorrhage. And really just grateful to still be in the game. GTKY:
What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or
dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time?Since being on bed rest, I am a piggy! Food is my only pleasure right now. I'd have to say dinner because DH is home by then and we get to all eat together. Tonight we are having pizza, which I have been craving a lot!
Today is the one year anniversary of my due date with Grace....even though she was born May 4, this is when I think about that she should be one. What is weird is that she was born at 20 weeks 1 day, and I am 20 weeks 1 day today. I had a good ugly cry last night and feel a little teary today. Big (((hugs))) to you.
The bolded is one of my biggest fears with telling people about my pregnancy -- like then everything will be okay in their minds and my son will be forgotten.
Me too. We still have not told a lot of people I am pregnant.
I just wanted to let you all know that we have a pregnant after a late loss group on FB that some of the girls on here are a part of. Pm me if you are interested in joining. It's nice to be able to talk honestly without worrying about people you know stalking you and reading your posts. (It is a closed, private group)

(Also I think the next chain seems scarier--since it's hard to believe we will make it to the end of that one.)
GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time? Usually dinner would be my favorite, but lately all meals are a lot of less fun with the queasiness and aversions. I can't think off the top of my head what is my usual favorite. I do know right before I got pregnant this time I made the most amazing homemade ice cream cake and if I finally get that pregnancy hunger and lose the food aversions I'm going to make and devour another one.

GTKY: What is your favourite meal time of the day, breakfast, lunch, or dinner? What is your favourite thing to eat at said meal time?Since being on bed rest, I am a piggy! Food is my only pleasure right now. I'd have to say dinner because DH is home by then and we get to all eat together. Tonight we are having pizza, which I have been craving a lot!
