I'm hoping that I'm just working myself up for absolutely nothing, but in a couple weeks, we are taking our DS on his first airplane. The plane ride should have only take 2 hours... BUT my MIL & GIL are coming too, and guess who didn't want to wake early enough to make the 2 hour airplane? So now we board one plan for an hour flight then have to find our next flight at the next station. Which I'm sure will be on the other side of the terminal. I should mention that neither MIL or GIL are .... fast on their feet.... at this point I feel my DS is the least of my problems. I honestly don't mind that since we're taking United that we might not be boarded first that I'll have to hook up the carseat onto a plane seat (that I was already ready for). It's going through TSA with people other than my DS who won't be patient, when they very old enough to know that being in an air port terminal is just a whole lot of waiting. Honestly I will be surprised if we make it to the airport and we're not running through the terminal to make our flight. I just have this sinking feeling that one of them (or both) will be running late or won't even be packed when we pick them up.
Oh if I wasn't pregnant, I would be asking for a drink after take off!
Re: Keep your fingers crossed (Caution it's a LONG vent)
You sound like my DH I'm sure I'm just stressing over nothing. And GIL is probably a word I made up like MIL (Mother in law) GIL is Grandmother in law.
thanks I'm just a newbie flying with a kid parent...
