We went to Maui, just one Island over so it was cheap flights. And as gifts we got 2 weeks in a timeshare condo. Total cost was under $500 for us to be there for 2 weeks.

We rented a cabin in the mountains of California and spent a couple of days hiking in Yosemite.

We got married in Vegas, and just stayed there for our honeymoon.

Rome, Venice, cruise to the Greek Islands. then when we came back we spent a couple days at the Disney Resort and drove down to San Diego for couple of days.
