Wondfo Question

Hi Ladies!

So I tested this monring (Crazy I know, but I just received the Wondfo test the other day and was dying to use them) Big Smile But it showed a very, very, barley there line. I'm thinking it could be an evap line, because is it even possible to get a BFP on 8 DPO?

On to my original question, lol, are Wondfo's popular for evap lines? If you squint you can see a line. Maybe I have line eye.. lol... But I was thinking with me only 8 DPO it is most likely an evap line.. I may test again in the AM or wait until Friday to test again.

What color is the line? If it is pink then it is a positive. Yes, it is possible to get a BFP at 8DPO. Party!!!

If it is gray or any other color than pink, AND you looked at it after the time limit then it could be an evaporation line.

I checked it within 5 mins, like the package said. This is my first month using these Wondfo's so I wasn't sure if it is common to get an evap line with them. I will just keep testing.

If you looked within the time limit then it is a positive. No question. Get an FRER and test in the morning. If you get a positive then wait until the next morning for a digital. I will say congratulations now.

Regardless of when you checked the test, Wondfo and other cheapies are notorious for "evaps" even within the test window. I peed on one when I got my last batch, on cd5 and on BCPs and still had a faint line within the timeframe. My rule of thumb is, unless I can get it on camera easily it isn't a true BFP yet. GL!

Ah man, I hope their not 'popular' for evap lines. I just ordered me a bunch on Amazon... well they were 'cheap' after all lol.

I would probly just test again in the morning and see what that test comes up with. Good Luck!

I've had a BFP at 8dpo (with a FRER) so it is definitely possible. If you implanted early, it would show up. Also possible you O'ed earlier than you thought. Wait until the morning and let us know what happens! Good luck!

A line is a line. All my negatives on wondfos have never shown a line. Even when I desperately tried to imagine one. lol. I had a positive and it was barely visible at first, but got darker each day. Best wishes!

I'm not much help about the brand and the evap part. However, in theory with any lab testing, if a test is truly negative a "positive" should NEVER show, no matter the elapsed time (even if it's past the recommended time limits). I work in a dr's office and I totally relate to "line eye" -- strep & flu tests are the worst for this LOL!! With that being said, if any of our tests show up positive outside of their time limits, follow up testing is always done. Either by repeating the test, sending cultures/drawing blood if applicable, or just going ahead and changing them to the appropriate treatment course.

Sorry to veer off topic a bit, but if there's really a faint line I'm going to say it probably really is a pos! Early congrats & I hope the line continues to become more positive in your next testing :-)

I'd just like to add to that that I don't consider it a real BFP until I see it on a FRER. Wondfos are great for testing early but have been known to have bad batches that give false positives (even within the correct time frame). So if the line is still there in the AM I'd dip a FRER too. Just a follow up to let you all know. I tested with a Wondfo and FRER this am, and the Wondfo line was a little darker this am, and there is no question on the FRER line!

I am going to the OB today to have bloodwork drawn. Since I have had two losses my OB wants this done as soon as I had a postive test.

Thank you all again! Even though I didnt get to post nearly enough as I wanted to, I have been lurking since March, and I am pulling for all of you! You ladies are the absolute best!
