Intro, suppose I should step out of lurkdom.

Thought I should introduce myself after 4+ months of lurking. 

Due to PIH, placental insufficiency and low amniotic fluid I spent 10 days on hospitalized bedrest and received both steroid shots and had daily BPP and NSTs. My little guy was born at 30w4d on May 8th via emergency csection for reverse end-diastolic flow.   Z weighed 2lb15oz and was 14inches long.  He came out screaming and that was a huge relief.  After an hour he was not breathing as well on his own and moved to CPAP.  In his 48 day NICU stay he was intubated twice for surfactant, on CPAP for 5 days, O2 flow until he was 4 weeks old.  Our biggest barrier was desats and reflux.  His reflux resolved once the NG tube was removed .  Since going home we have had a 1 night stay on the pediatric floor post-op for a inguinal hernia repair (with no complications or apneas) he has been doing fantastic. 

I just wanted to thank you ladies in advance for all your support in the future.  And let you know reading your stories and seeing how you help each other made my preemie experience much more tolerable.  You gave me hope on some of our hardest days.  I look forward to getting to know everyone and hope to be as supportive as you all are!  Thank you so much!!!
