Hi all,
So my DD never had a problem with napping/sleeping & leaky diapers. Now all of a sudden she is leaking through the diaper at most naps & every night. In fact, this morning I walked into her room to see that the diaper had exploded...the little crystal things inside of the diaper were EVERYWHERE! Down her legs..in the footies of her pajamas. I thought I'd never get them cleaned up. We use the night-time Pampers brand. Does anyone have any recommendations for diaper brands for sleeping? Please help! Thanks!
Re: Leaky diapers! Help! Need recommendations.
When she was younger and still getting a bottle before bed, we just went up a size. She's been doing fine since we stopped bottles, there's not as much liquid going in before bed, so not much comes out. We will have on occasional leak, but nothing extreme.
Try going up a size or a small pack of a different brand.
I HAAATE that!!
We havent had issues with Huggies overnights leaking like Pampers. We also use the size 6 diapers since he pees like a racehorse while he sleeps. He's not even 30 pounds, but will fill up a size 6 diaper. I am scared to see what is going to happen in another 3 or 4 months.
Try moving up a size, at least for the nighttime diapers.
I'm also a little creeped out by those crystal things, and don't want DD to put them in her mouth. Overnight, we use Nature Babycare brand diapers. Those things hold a TON for being all natural - I don't know if we've ever had a leak. They don't work well during the day as there's less elastic and seem to leak as she moves around a lot, so we like Cruisers during the day. She is a short napper, so we only use the Babycare ones overnight.
Agree with move up a size. Huggies and the Parent's Choice brands of nighttime diapers also worked better for us. The Pampers always leaked!
