CD disposable liners

We have just started using CD and I have to say it has been easier than I thought it would. I do not have a sprayer yet, and was looking the the disposable inserts. Anyone use these or recommend which ones are the softest.

Thanks!

Re: CD disposable liners

  • I have never used the disposable inserts but here is another idea. I know is sounds kinda gross but we have a 5 gallon bucket. I spray in CD's off into the bucket with my kitchen sprayer. Everything goes into the bucket, then when finished I dump it all in the toilet.

I worked for a plumbing company and it was recommenced to us not to install a sprayer on our toilet because the potential to flood the bathroom.  So, of course, DH wouldn't let me install one. This way has worked for me since she was 8 months old and started solids.

  • I used the GroVia bio soakers when we went on vacation a couple of months ago. They work great! I highly recommend them.

It sounds like you might be looking for disposable liners though, if you are looking for something to help take the poop off the diaper easily. I used some by Bummis when DS was younger I think.

  • Thanks! Your right I may be looking for the disposable liners now that I think of it. I am not sure what DH will think of the 5 gallon bucket, it took some convincing for the CD in the first place.

  • We got the Imse Vimse Flushable Liners  and I really liked them.  We washed them in the sink and re-used them if they were pee only and they could be re-used several times without falling apart.  If I threw them in the washer with the dipes they wore out a little faster.

  • I have used many kinds. The bummis (I think) seem to hold up best to washing for me but since I just throw them in the washing machine they only last 2 or so washes (obviously I only wash the pee ones.)

  • We REALLY like applecheeks and grovia flushable liners.

Bummis is good too, but i've found the above two to be a bit softer and bigger.
