I feel like I'm constantly searching for a way to get LO to sttn again. He started to at the begining of August (10 weeks old), did it for about 3 weeks in his RnP from 8p-6a. My first week back to work he sttn also. Then he got sick and was up that 2nd week back to work, which I thought was because of the sickness. However, it's now been almost a month and he's still up every night at least once, sometimes twice and he's hungry. We did transition him to the crib about 2.5 weeks ago, but I just don't get what is going on. I've heard of the 4 month wakeful period, but it's been 4 weeks and he will be 17 weeks tomorrow. We do the same bed-time routine every night. HELP!! Any suggestions?? I am a girl that needs sleep to function, I feel like I'm at my wits end and don't want to be that mom who's 1 year old is up all through the night.

Re: HELP - STTN
If you need your sleep then go to bed when lo does. If you lo needs to eat then get up and feed your lo. I was that mom who had a lo who was up at night with my one year old while pregnant with Lucas he needed the extra calories and exta love.
Some kids this age can sleep longer and some can't. You'll adjust to less sleep its just part of motherhood.
It's hard when your LO slept for long chunks and doesn't anymore. It was the same with my DD. I long for the days when she'd sleep from 8 to 5. But it's just not realistic to expect that right now.
Can your DH share some of the load? If you BF, can you pump and he takes any wake ups within a four hour period? That's what I'd do (I don't work outside the home so it's all me.)
