My late mom's first name is the Russian word for love, given there as widely as the Russian versions of Faith and Hope. Ever since she passed, I've wanted to honor her memory if/when we have a girl. But for an English speaker, this name is weird, clunky, hard to spell, and impossible to pronounce:

So I looked at other names that mean love, and nothing stands out... should I just use Love as mn? WWYD?

Re: Love as a middle name
Considering it was your mom's name, I'd use it just as it is. The middle name spot is ideal for this - you'll know how to say it, you'll know the meaning and DD can use her middle name if she chooses to.
I would go with your mom's name - in the MN spot, pronunciation won't be as much of an issue. I love the idea (no pun intended!) of giving your child a connection with your heritage.
That being said, I don't dislike using Love either. I just like the original name more

I'd use the original name, for reasons pp stated.
Also, Love in the mn spot makes me think of Jennifer Love Hewitt, and I didn't realize she had superfans who would want to name their children after her.
