We got DS's 12-month shots at 14-months. I know bad parents. However, he got sick right when he should have gotten them. He had a really terrible heat rash and we thought it might have been food allergies. Then went on vacation. We tried to get an appointment but quickly learned that it was school physical appt time and had to wait a month to get in.
Now, for his 15-month shots what do we do? Wait till 17 months. We asked at his appointment and they said as long as it had been 4-weeks we were fine. I find this quite a short time-frame when it is usually 3 months. What is your opinion should we wait longer and if so how much longer? DH thought Columbus Day would be a good day to go. That is only 5 weeks.
Re: Immunization Question
If you scroll down this has the minimum times btwn each dose for the different vaccines.
ETA: It would be helpful if I actually posted the link https://aapredbook.aappublications.org/site/resources/IZSchedule0-6yrs.pdf
It would make me extremely uncomfortable to inject that much into my baby in such a small time frame.
Thanks. There is also a Catch-up immunization schedule on this site which is exactly what I was looking for. I still think it is a lot for a LO to handle though.
