Question for the moms of 3 or more

Baby #3 will be here in April. Right now it feels like we're simply going to go thorough a repeat of when DD2 came along as far as adjusting goes, but I'm sure there's more to it than that.

So my question to you is: how was going from 2 to 3 different from going from 1 to 2? What is it I am not thinking of right now?

Going from 2 to 3 was much easier for us than going from 1 to 2. The age gap was much closer with 1 to 2 (just over 14.5 months) so that may be partly why. Good luck!

My # 3 is only (almost) 6 weeks old, but so far, it's been the easiest transition yet. Part of this is because we've done it a couple of times before, but the other part of it is that DS1 and DS2 are so involved in playing with each other that they have had zero issues with welcoming their sister into our family. They are 2 and 4, and basically just hang out together playing all day on the days we're home, so that I have plenty of time to tend to the baby.

I am only a few days in but having a third has been insanely easy so far. My older two entertain each other so I get lots of time to snuggle/feed/take care of the baby. I am used to juggling kids and I am much more laid back..if I can't get to the baby right away I don't stress out like I did after my girls were born. I feel so comfortable in the mom role now, it has been great.

0-1 was hard because I didn`t know what I was doing AT ALL.

1-2 was SO EASY for me because they were only 14 months apart and I felt I learned how to do it and hadn`t forgotten it all yet.

2-3.... I am only 6 weeks in to it but it is definitely hard. 0-1 might have been harder because I just felt so overwhelmed. Now, it`s not so much being overwhelmed, it`s more so LOUD, alllllll the time. LOL.

I had my second when my first was 5 and that was easy because she was in school but when my third came almost exactly 1 year later it was still easy but then now my second is 2 and my third is 1 and they mischeivous together! So its a bit harder

I only take them out if someone else is with me, I just don' have enough hands for a 2, 1, and 6 month old!
