Man Attempts Labor

I saw this on my new BMB, and thought I'd share it. It's a guy who hooked up electrodes to simulate the pain of contractions.

I wish I could do this to my husband.

    I don't want to say "women can quit" because I'm not starting debate, but women can choose to get an epidural, which greatly decreases the amount of pain they are in, they obviously weren't going to give him one for fake labor.  I understand he still quit, and couldn't handle natural childbirth, but to say women have to grin and bear it isn't really 100% true.

    I do agree with this.  It was a huge difference between when my water broke and when I got the epidural.  Unfortunately, I had to wait a while for my epidural even though I was at 5CM when I checked in to the hospital, and so I only had the epidural for an hour before Ty was born.  Needless to say I didn't feel the birth at all!
