Ladies
I haven't posted on the 1st tri board before (most of my questions/concerns are answered through lurking) and I rarely posted on the TTGP board, but I have a question that I can't seem to get an answer to, so I thought I'd ask you ladies-
I just urinated, and there was a somewhat large clump of...tissue? in the toilet (it's happened once or twice before, but never this big). It was not bloody, it was white/clear, with a brown spot in the center. I don't know how to describe it without being disgusting, so tissue is the best way to get the idea across. I was thinking that maybe my Uterus etc stretching might cause this, but when I Googled it, I really only found early miscarriage information. I will be 9 weeks on Thursday, and at my first appoinment at a little before 7 weeks, we saw the heart beat etc and everything looked healthy then. I know that things can change in an instant and I'm just trying to live in the moment and relax, but this has me a little freaked out.
thanks ladies, I hope you all have a great rest of the afternoon!
Re: Passing ...tissue? when urinating...Caution:TMI
As long as it isn't red I wouldn't worry.
I've had this problem since the middle of my fifth week, I don't know what it is and why it happens, but I wear a pantiliner every day.
Also, I saw the baby & heartbeat at 6w3d & I also listened to the heartbeat lastnight on my doppler.
I'm not worried, I've just accepted that I'm different : )
I think it's just CM, which is totally normal during pregnancy. I've had a great u/s at 6w, heard the HB via doppler last week at the dr, and I 'm still passing "tissue" in my pee. I had some in my urine cup at my last appt and they didn't say anything.
I follow the rule that if there is no bleeding or severe cramping, then it's probably okay. GL!
This exactly... I would mention it the next time I go to the doc, but other than that as long as there is no red blood I wouldn't worry.
Lots of abnormal things may happen with your body with you are PG, and some of it will be out of your vag. Especially when you get close to delivery. My plug came out all at once and was like a foot long. I thought I had to pee but it was actually my water breaking (conveniently in the toilet). TMI I know- but our bodies do some crazy things!
