See my rant about my mortgage screw job part 2 from last night if you care but tack on this piece of shittastic customer service (BofA fixed that this morning, btw)
Over the weekend I got a bill for an MRI I had done and the copay looked too high so I checked out our plan info. It was double what it should have been - $300 vs $150. I called the insurance company and I get this for an answer "Oh yeah, you're right, it should be $150. We've been seeing that a lot lately where double the copayment amount gets charged for some reason and we've had to go in and manually adjust it."
How in the hell is that ok? I definitely believe people need to watch out for themselves but there are a lot of people who just aren't that diligent or hell, have the intelligence to even comprehend their plans. I don't excuse not researching but that answer is for shitt from BCBS. Between them and BofA we have almost been incorrectly charged close to $800 in the last month.
