A sleep and teething whiney ramble

I want to whine for a moment because I feel like I have a newborn again and I am majorly sleep deprived. Vito has not been sleeping for over a week now. His teeth hurt, he has sinus issues, and he wants me constantly. He wakes up 4 to 5 times a night and will not go back to sleep unless one of us holds him. The past two nights we tried letting him CIO with checks every 10 minutes but after 45 minutes I gave up and rocked him. H did the same thing at 2 am.

For three days we have been alternating Tylenol and Ibuprofin. I swear the second it hits three and a half hours after the last dose he starts screaming. I feel like keeping up the drug regimen for more than three days isn't good. How long should I do this?

I took him to the pedi on Friday and she said he is fine besides a stuffy nose and swollen gums around where the molars are popping in. I just want to sleep for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time and I want my happy easy boy back.

Have you tried Orajel? I swear by it. It works right away for Callie.

I have not done orajel yet, but his babysitter has some and she is going to use it today.

I feel so bad for him. Admittedly I enjoy the cuddles I am getting lately so there is a positive side. Lol. And he is cute slash heartbreaking because if you ask him what is wrong he points at his teeth and makes a sad face.

Truth be told Cole has been in bed with us for the last two weeks. I just can't take the 2am wakings anymore. He has been in and out of our bed his whole life, and it works for us. I know it doesn't work for a lot of people, but I need my freaking sleep lol
