WWYD Dr appointment this week?

So DH can't attend my Drs appointment this week and I will behaving an ultrasound done. Its possible I could also find out the gender at this appointment.

Also if we don't find out this week I already know he will also not be able to take time off work to come to the A/S so this poll would still apply regardless of when we find out the gender.

Bah I meant to post this on my Feb 13 board but I would love to know what you ladies think also

If it were me, I'd want to find out with DH, so I would go with the envelope idea. Everyone is different, though. What do you think your DH would be happier with?

I'm not sure, I should ask him. I think it would be cute to get him a "Little sister or brother tee shirt" but I have a feeling if I told him I want to do that he will say "No don't buy anything just tell me"

Haha, well maybe just ask him if it's important to him that you guys find out together. If he doesn't care, then you can just find out at the ultrasound and get the big brother/big sister shirt. Just don't tell him of your plans for the outfit so that he can't try to dissuade you.

Well haven't posted too much about it on this board or any other boards really. And don't feel too bad cause I found out last night BIL only found out about this LO like 3 days ago. I guess DH thought his mom would tell him and she didn't.

Also due to moving and insurance BS this is my first appointment for this LO so other than complaining about pregnancy symptoms I haven't had to much to say.

As I mentioned before here, I had a blood test done. When my nurse called you tell me the gender I absolutely would not let her say it until I got hubs on 3 way.

Does he have the type of job where u could call him and have the tech announce it to you and he over the phone? U could put ur cell on speaker phone.

I voted "put in envelope"...but ultimately I'd ask MH what he wants. It would be sooooo hard not to find out right away!

Unfortunately he cannot be on the phone while he is at work I can only ever get a hold of him via text so calling isn't an option. I also think he is gonna want the tech to "show me the goods" as proof so I will ask him tonight if he cares about me knowing before him or not.

The tech will usually do give you an u/s of the "goods" and type on "I'm a boy" or "I'm a girl" for you and put that in an envelope.  I would have to go that route myself wanting to find out with DH.  But I also refused to POAS unless he was there too. (not in the bathroom but the house)
