STTN x2!

I usually want to punch people that post bragging about their STTN... but I'm sorry I'm just too excited.  We have been sleeping 6-7 hours at a time pretty consistently, one time we went 8 but last night we did 10 hours!  From 9-7.  Unbelievable to get 2 kids to do that! I'm sure it was just a fluke but I can always hope it will become the norm.

  • Houray!! Soon it will be. Just give the time to your babies to have a big enough stomach to store all the milk they need for the night!

Once it starts it does seem to become the norm, at least that's what happened for us and many people I know.  Fingers crossed for you!  It's such a good feeling to have a full night's sleep!  1-2 hour stretches just doesn't cut it!

  • LOL... I understand the sentiment. When my daughter didn't sleep more than 3 hours for the first month of her life, I also wanted to punch people with babies the same age who were sleeping 6+.

But yeah, it is a huge, especially with two little ones! Enjoy the sleep mama, you deserve it!

  • Thank you :) You guys are much more encouraging than my fb friends.  They all assured me it was a fluke.  This is a long way for us... we used to eat every 2 hours even through the night.  I was lucky to sleep 20 min at a time.  I have been considering us sleeping well ever since we dropped to only getting up once a night but this is just amazing.  The whole family really needs this especially with school in full swing now!

that is how it was for us... there have been a handful of nights he will wake up at like 2 or 3, but we just put in his bink and he is out again...

we have been getting luckier and luckier though, he now goes down around 730/745 now and if he isn't awake by 650 (about half the time of the week) we wake him to get ready to head to work...

    GL!!!
