I am looking for one for Christmas.  My stylist uses a Chi at home and a Rusk (I think) at the salon.

And do I want 1" or 2"?

Not that I think this helps you since I believe they went out of business, but I got mine at Sharper Image and it's awesome! The 1" or 2" depends on the thickness of your hair. Mine's very fine so I only needed the 1".

sedu is the best one out there. ?i've tried chi, hai, and ghd and sedu is far superior. ?ditto PP, check out folica.com. ?they have awesome customer service there, too. ?i think they even have a sedu sale going on right now.

and, i suggest 1". ?it's more versatile than a 2".?

breezee turned me onto the sedu.  I love it.  my sister and bf bought it and love it too.  folica.com just emailed me and they are having a sale on it.  get the 1 inch.  you don't need a 2 unless you have very long very curly hair!
