Anyone else's LO grab the spoon nonstop?

I've been giving ds oatmeal mixed with breastmilk and he seems to really like it. We've been doing it for about 2 weeks now and the past several days ds won't stop grabbing the spoon every time I try to put the oatmeal in his mouth. Once he gets it in there he just chews on it nonstop. Any tips on what I can do to make him not do this, besides taping his arms down?

Oh yes, this is a great trick.  We did this with DS1 also:)

So a story for Huahua.

We just got a 5 guys with fries. Me and my mom mosey to it tonight with the little dude. Im eating away with him perched on my lap not really paying attention to him and all of a sudden I go to take a bite of my burger and it is smooshed into my face. There is little dude leaning up, trying to grab my burger for himself and smooshing it in my face. Oh boy.... Did I give him any burger? No. Did I have burger ALL over my face? Yes. It was good times.

I was feeding Logan peas tonight. He was trying to grab the soon,stick either hand or foot in his mouth and get his foot in the container of peas. Lots of fun.

DD loves to "help" She's really good at getting it into her mouth, but she gets mad when I take it away to refill. So, I do 2 spoons as well. When she gnaws on the spoon and gets all the yummy off, I fill the other spoon. She opens when she sees it coming and is willing to drop her other spoon for the new one. It's a cereal ferris wheel.

Mine regularly grabs the cats' tails and tries to stuff them into his mouth.  Rivers of drool + catfur all around his mouth is not a nice look.

Ds is all drool, puts his hands in his mouth, then he reaches out for the cat, gets hair all over his hand, and puts it back in his mouth. It is a vicious cycle.

I'm gonna try this tomorrow! He shines so much and kicks since he gets mad when you take the spoon away.
