SCH is back with a vengeance!

Thought we were in the clear, u/s Friday, she did not see the pesky SCH that has been causing slight bleeding since week six. Until today! Tmi warning...

Gushing episode, bright red, most I have ever bled...ever. Of course I was scared to death. Husband came home and took me to ER. After 4 hrs of waiting and tests they finally told us that babies look great, but showed me a pic of the f&$@ing thing, located right by my cervix (so expect more bleeding). On modified bed rest until Monday when I have apt with MFM.

I did get a sonoline b Doppler and it has really helped calm fears. I can never tell if I'm finding 2 heartbeats or one, but it's something.

Just wanted to share and please let me know if you had similar experience. Thx.

Re: SCH is back with a vengeance!

  • I'm so sorry - SCHs are so scary. I had a moderate sized one that bled out at 10w6d. It was just above Baby B's placenta. The doc in the ER I went to did say ones by your cervix will usually bleed more just based on their location.

I hope it stops soon and heals itself quickly.
