I think caviar nails look like someone painted over their serious nail fungus problem.
I think taking care of baby is way more important than housework. Unless its compromising the baby's health, I dont care how messy my house is (or any of my friends).
Re: UO time!
I agree with this. I would much rather head to the park and walk our dog and get DS some fresh air/entertainment and have us all happy than have the house spotless. We are much happier.
My UO: I take the guidelines or rules about babies with a grain of salt. I do my research but in the end I feel like my decisions are informed even if they are not the conventional ways to do things. For instance solids at 6 months (or 4 months depending where you live). There are inconsistencies in recommendations and I think if you have researched it and are informed, you know your baby best. Things like that, or keeping a baby in your room for 6 months.
It also makes me mad when people act like because you haven't gone by the book on something you are an idiot and just hadn't thought it through.
Thats really weird! I thought it was a given that mom gets baby back when she's unhappy
This has happened to me too, by MIL. It's super annoying!
I don't really have an UO today....well I don't like French manicures on toes.
French manicures on the toes looks funny. They make the toe nails look longer, which is nasty.
helping my sister with her children so much, and I get virtually nothing. I sometimes pity my daughter for having such little amounts of family. Both my husband and I feel we very much owe it to our daughter to have more children because of the lack of family we have.
I think that nose studs (especially really tiny ones) look like pimples!
And, I very much agree with the messy house bit.
hahahaha! This is soo funny because I can totally relate!
My UO is although, I love my nephews. I don't believe a 3 year old or a 6 year old should be carrying my child (even sitting down)...Yes, I agree its cute for a couple of seconds while getting a photo...But my child is not a toy to be fought over on who is going to get to hold him next...And to add, this usually happens when my nephews have stuffy noses or some kind of cold. My family thinks I'm overprotective. And I admit it! I am!
I thought I was the only one who felt this way!! I'm so glad I'm not!
They look cheap and nasty to me!
I know its friday now, but I just thought of another one. I get really stabby when people get up in arms about gender stereotypes. It's not trite and uneducated to assume your boy is going to prefer trucks over tea sets.
And when a mom is joking around that it took her a second to get used to the idea that her son wants to run around in a tutu, she doesnt need to be bashed into a hateful, unaccepting mother (article I read today and it's ultra annoying comments)
