DD is suddenly having accidents at night

DD has been going to bed at night without a diaper since she turned 3 in July. She would have an occasional accident, about once every couple of weeks, but this past week she has pee'd the bed every night, sometimes twice in one night. I am tempted to put her back in a pull up but I don't want to go backwards. Has anyone else dealt with this? I was thinking maybe it is because she has started 3 preK and is getting use to a new daily routine? Her attitude has been off all week too, she has been doing a really whiney fake cry thing before bed.

Us too. We put a pullup over her underwear an somehow she stays dry and can research it since it was over the underwear. We had too many days of accidents in a row.

we've been having this same problem lately. Someone on this board suggested that we have her go potty right before bed as she usually does, but we also wake her up before we go to bed as well. She's always able to go again and then goes right back to sleep. She's been dry in the morning since we started doing this. We didn't want to regress back into pullups. good luck

I think all the changes can cause sudden bed wetting, especially if she's overtired at night. Growth spurts can also be a cause.

Hi, I'm totally new to this board and I thought I'd offer my two cents

If the problem doesn't resolve, it could be a UTI.  But in the mean time, they sell pads called Goodnights that you can place right on top of the fitted sheet, so when they wet the bed, you just remove that.  It saves you from middle of the night bed changes.
